In the beginning, PT Pertamina (Persero) had controlled and well-managed archives, but in 2010 management was out of control. Thus, to digitize vital archives that can compile determine documents comply with regulations such as PP No. 8 1997 regarding company documents, 87 1999 concerning procedures for destroying 88 transfer legalized microfilm. The research focuses on techniques carried by digitizing records. method used is descriptive qualitative using interview observation approaches, sources be interviewed are archivists who responsible archives. addition, data analysis obtained through three stages: reduction, presentation, concluding. found existence success records a series applications, initial stages, digitization actions, final process, so activity have impacts, as, accessibility, efficiency, effectiveness. From results this study, it concluded conducted carrying seven process
